Co-Founder & Photographer
Brandy Tuutau
Brandy, alongside her husband Daniel, is the proud owner and operator of DB Productions Utah, a premier photography and videography company catering to a diverse range of clientele. Established in January 2019, their business has evolved significantly in response to the challenges posed by the pandemic, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.
Specializing in capturing performances, conferences, recitals, and other live-streamed events, as well as offering portrait services for individuals, businesses, and families, DB Productions Utah has seamlessly transitioned to online streaming services and adopted innovative photography techniques to ensure the safety and satisfaction of their clients.
Brandy’s passion for photography was ignited during her high school years in Orem, UT, where she discovered her talent and affinity for the art form. Her professional journey began with roles at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii and Kiddie Candids at the Orem mall. Following a transformative experience as a missionary in Indonesia, Brandy embraced motherhood and dedicated herself to raising her four children while intermittently pursuing photography as a hobby.
It was through a fortuitous friendship with her neighbor, Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen, that Brandy’s passion for photography was reignited. With Elizabeth’s mentorship and support, Brandy embarked on a journey of growth and skill development, culminating in notable achievements such as meriting multiple images in the IPPA Image Competition and securing a 2nd place win in the Portrait Woman’s category.
Looking ahead, Brandy’s aspirations include obtaining certification as a Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and further honing her craft through continuous learning and exploration. Her dedication to excellence and unwavering commitment to her craft serve as pillars of inspiration as she navigates the ever-evolving landscape of professional photography.
