  • Device Use: Presenters will use their own computer to join and present via Zoom. Please ensure your device is fully charged and updated before your session.
  • Zoom Access: You’ll be provided a Zoom link for your session. Plan to join at least 10 minutes early to test your connection and screen sharing.
  • Tech Checks: Pre-event tech checks will be scheduled to verify your camera, microphone, screen share, and any media playback (e.g., videos with audio).
  • Slide Presentations: If using PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar software, have the file open and ready before your session. You’ll share your screen directly with the audience.
  • Video Playback: If your presentation includes video or sound, we’ll confirm during the tech check that Zoom’s “Share Sound” and “Optimize for Video” options are used correctly.
  • Environment: Present from a quiet, well-lit location with minimal background noise and distractions. A headset or external microphone is recommended.
  • Internet: A strong and stable internet connection is essential. Wired (Ethernet) connections are preferred, but if using Wi-Fi, position yourself close to the router and avoid other heavy internet use during your session.
